Plant Magic
Plant Magic was founded in 2021 with the idea of complementing classic to-go drinks such as milk-based beverages and smoothies with a vegan alternative based on plant drinks. All products are based on recipes and ingredients that are attributed with health-promoting and functional effects. Sebastian Brecey, one of the founders, explained to us how they are working on their products and what he appreciates about Munich as a startup location. He says: “People help each other and are there for one another. The network here provides a good environment.” (Image: The Plant Magic Company)
Filu
Filu wants to become the leading provider of pet care in Germany. Founded in 2022, the three founders Anna Magdalena (Lena) Naderer (CVO), Christian Köhler (CEO) and Justus Buchen (COO) have already raised 5.1 million euros in a seed round. What exactly does the startup do and where is it headed with Filu? Find out in the interview. (Image: Filu)
Marius Merkle Amind
Amind: Whether you’re a founder, manager, or employee – stress reduces performance at the individual level, but also in organizations. However, sources of stress are many, and simply reducing your workload often isn’t enough. That’s why the Munich startup Amind has set out to promote mindfulness based on evidence and to increase (self-)confidence and (self-)care. In the interview, founder Marius Merkle explains his approach, what sets it apart from conventional coaching, and how founding Amind has given him a new perspective on uncertainties and self-doubt. Redrink
Redrink: A little water? Still or sparkling? With a light prickly pear aroma or prefer a stronger apple flavor? Redrink is digitizing the beverage dispenser sector, providing more selection and better usability. This way, the startup helps not only companies and their employees – but also the environment. We asked one of the founders how the concept works exactly. In the interview they explain: “We follow a ‘the best packaging is no packaging’ approach.” (Image: Redrink)
