ZeroEx team — ZeroEx: In enhanced rock weathering (ERW for short), rock flour is applied to agricultural land, which permanently binds CO2 as it weathers and also improves soil properties as a side benefit. The Munich startup ZeroEx is working to improve the methods for using ERW. In the interview, the startup explains the details.

Minimalist Phone — With Minimalist Phone, less time on your phone: We probably all spend far too much time on our phones, scrolling through a flood of images and the like without much coming of it. If you want to do something about it, you can, for example, use blocker apps to restrict yourself. Or you can rely on the solution from Minimalist Phone. What the Munich startup does differently from conventional blockers and what a changed user interface has to do with it is explained by founder Martin Moravek in the interview.

Jambo — With Jambo, Julia Seiss, a trained hotel manager and PhD in business administration, founded an impact company in 2024 that aims to create intergenerational and cross-cultural exchange. The children’s fashion label is produced in Munich. The goal is to create a more inclusive community alongside high-quality clothing that has not only social but also economic impact. How does that work? Julia Seiss, founder of Jambo, talks about this in the interview.
