The Insurtech Hub Munich (ITHM) is opening the application phase for its Venture Client Programme. The programme aims to connect startups from Germany and abroad with leading insurance companies and technology firms. Young companies benefit from a zero-percent equity model with no participation fee, specifically designed to foster sustainable partnerships.
The programme offers a structured platform to accelerate market entry. In addition to developing joint use cases, the focus is particularly on building long-term partnerships.
Participation requirements are aimed at innovative startups with a validated product and initial success – both within and outside the insurance industry. Applicants should also have the ambition to expand into the German and European market and be open to close collaboration with large corporations.
Programme launch in September – hybrid format with mandatory events in Munich
The Venture Client Programme starts in September and takes place in a hybrid format. In-person attendance is required at two key events: the Onboarding Days from September 23–25 and the Innovation Night on November 27, both in Munich.
Between these events, weekly digital business development sessions are offered. These include an industry-specific curriculum as well as individual mentoring by experts. The Hub’s partners – over 30 leading insurance companies and technology providers – are available to participating startups as potential customers.
Another advantage: the entire programme is free and requires no equity stake in the company.
Applications open until July 11
The application process for the Venture Client Programme takes less than 15 minutes. Interested startups can register online until July 11. A public group call is held weekly every Wednesday at 2 p.m. CEST for any open questions.
