Munich Founder Prize
Munich Founder Prize for Djoon and Air Up: Stadtsparkasse München has awarded the Munich Founder Prize. 39 companies have now received the award, including well-known names like Flixbus or Happybrush. This year, Djoon and Air Up join as two additional winners, as 2024 saw awards in two categories for the first time. In the startup category, Djoon’s date pralines impressed the judges. Successful seed round of 11 million euros for Tozero: Tozero secures 11 million euros in an oversubscribed seed round led by NordicNinja. New investors joining this funding round include In-Q-Tel (IQT), Honda, and JGC Group, a globally active infrastructure technology company. Existing investors, including Atlantic Labs, Verve Ventures, and Possible Ventures, have also doubled their capital.
