Women in Tech: Founder Julia Seiss has a colorful and impressive résumé. She first built a career in hospitality and the brewing industry, including a PhD from Edinburgh. Since 2024, she is not only managing director of Munich-based tech company Testando, but also founder of Jambo, a local impact company. Testando conducts mystery checks for gastro companies. Predium
Predium secures 13 million euros in Series A: Munich-based startup Predium develops ESG management solutions for the real estate and financial industries. In a Series A round, the proptech is now raising 13 million euros. Norrsken VC, the investment fund of Klarna founder Niklas Adalberth, is leading the round, and existing investors UVC Partners, b2venture, and Mutschler Ventures are also participating again. Emidat
Climate intelligence in construction: Munich-based proptech Emidat helps construction companies track and reduce the ecological footprint of building materials. This provides greater transparency in the environmental impact of building materials. With a software solution, manufacturers of building materials can quickly and cost-effectively create and distribute environmental data. The startup was founded in 2023 by Florian Fesch and Lisa Oberaigner. A recently announced funding round of 4 million euros is intended to support further growth. (Photo: Emidat)
