The Series D was led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, with participation from existing investors HPE Growth and Cinco Capital. The expanded financing is now led by French private equity firm Infravia Growth, with additional participation from Tempocap, Reimann Investors, Xempus management, and other insurance experts and family offices.

Alban Wyniecki, founding partner at Infravia Growth, says:

“We are very pleased to partner with the Xempus team. The global pension gap now stands at $400 billion. Platforms like Xempus can make a decisive contribution to closing this gap by digitizing the distribution of occupational pensions, thus achieving better results for end customers, intermediaries, and insurers alike.”

Xempus on track to become “Europe’s leading platform for occupational pensions”

Xempus CEO Tobias Wann comments on the expansion of the investor base:

“We are delighted to welcome Infravia as an investor on board. We can benefit from their deep expertise in insurance and software, allowing us to consistently pursue our path to becoming Europe’s leading platform for occupational pensions.”

And Malte Dummel, COO & CFO at Xempus, adds:

“In light of overall volatile market conditions, the expansion of our Series D funding round underscores once again the attractiveness of our business model. It demonstrates our clear execution focus and shows the strength of our value proposition to insurers, intermediaries, and end customers.”

With capital from the Series D, Xempus plans to further strengthen its market position in Germany. In addition, the startup intends to integrate new product categories such as occupational health insurance on its platform. Furthermore, its own software-as-a-service solutions are to be established in additional European countries.
