Zerophase has completed a seed funding round of €5.8 million. Blueyard Capital is leading the round, with several business angels also participating. Founded in 2025 by, among others, Blickfeld co-founder Florian Petit, the company is developing a software-based communication system for unmanned defense platforms. The funding will accelerate the development and deployment of adaptive data links that enable secure connectivity across air, land, and sea environments.

Robust connectivity for critical missions

Unmanned defense systems require robust, low-latency communication to transmit video, telemetry, and command data under demanding conditions. Zerophase addresses this need with data links that dynamically adapt to interference, jamming, and signal degradation. This enables systems to maintain mission continuity and ensure sovereign connectivity without downtime.

“Communication is the nervous system of defense, and it determines the outcome of conflicts. Our goal is to ensure it never fails. With Blueyard’s support, we are building adaptive data links that deliver uncompromising performance and reliability across domains and mission types, laying the foundation for reliable connectivity for tomorrow’s unmanned systems”,

says Florian Petit, CEO of Zerophase.

The technology is already being deployed at scale and supporting operations in Ukraine. Experts estimate that current electronic warfare systems can disable unprotected drone communications within seconds. This underscores the importance of secure and adaptive data links.

With the fresh capital, Zerophase is expanding its engineering and signal processing teams, deepening partnerships in the European defense and aerospace ecosystem, and extending its system to additional mission profiles and deployment areas.
