Munich founder award for Djoon and Air Up
Stadtsparkasse München has awarded the Munich founder award 2024: In the startup category, the date pralines from Djoon impressed. Air Up was honored as “Rising Star” for its innovative drinking system.
Konux and Air Up win Game Changer Award
The two Munich startups Konux and Air Up are among the winners of the Game Changer Award 2024. Other award winners include Hugo Boss and the Schwarz Group. The business award is presented by management consultancy Bain & Company and Manager Magazin.

The Munich startup Air Up has developed a scent-based drinking system that flavors drinking water through scent alone. The first prototype was developed back in 2016. Air Up was then founded in 2019. In just three years, the Munich scale-up has grown into an internationally operating company that employs over 300 employees and has convinced millions of customers in now eleven countries. Air Up relocates Tritan bottle production to Austria
With the relocation of production to Austria, the Munich startup is pursuing the goal of having the majority of its bottles and 90 percent of its pods produced in Europe by the end of 2023.
