My Event Pass revolutionizes access to cultural events in the city by providing access to cinemas, concerts, theaters, and museums – all in one simple cultural subscription. My Event Pass is currently available in Munich, with over 2,200 events and more than 440 locations. Kira Schilling founded the startup together with Andreas Schröder and René Preusser back in 2020. “Mission Monument makes it possible to talk to statues”

From Ludwig II to Sigi Sommer to the wild boar in front of the Hunting and Fishing Museum, Munich has numerous statues. But while you may (or may not) recognize one or another king, not every figure depicted is necessarily familiar to everyone. And so the stories of the Kochel blacksmith, Ernest von Grossi, or Liesl Karlstadt remain hidden from most passersby. The Munich startup Mission Monument wants to remedy this by bringing statues to life on people’s smartphones and letting them tell their stories. In an interview, the founders reveal more.
