Munich Startup Special Prize goes to Ecoplanet at Bits & Pretzels
Munich tech company Ecoplanet won the “Munich Startup Special Prize” at the founder festival Bits & Pretzels. The award honors the best Munich startup in the pitch competition at Bits & Pretzels and is endowed with 5,000 euros.
Ecoplanet: The cockpit for energy management
Ecoplanet was founded in 2022 by Maximilian Dekorsy and Henry Keppler. The startup now has a team of 35 people, operates with offices in Munich and Berlin, and has raised a total of six million euros since March 2023. In the first year after product launch, the company achieved seven-figure revenues and continues to grow steadily. We spoke with founder Maximilian Dekorsy.
€3.5 million for Ecoplanet
HV Capital invests – alongside other investors – once again in Ecoplanet. In total, the Munich-based startup raised €3.5 million in this funding round.
Ecoplanet secures €2.6 million in seed round
Ecoplanet closes its seed round with €2.6 million. HV Capital leads the financing of the B2B energy platform, with several angel investors participating, including former Siemens supervisory board chairman Gerhard Cromme and the Flixbus founders.
