Stadtsparkasse München has honored the winners of the Munich Founder Prize 2025: InGemeinschaft wins in the “Startup” category, Edurino receives the prize as “Rising Star”.

Digital education begins in the children’s room: the Munich startup Edurino combines play, learning, and technology into a unique concept for children between four and eight years old. Co-founder Irene Klemm explains in the video podcast Pitch & People how an idea that emerged in the middle of the pandemic became an internationally growing EdTech company with 17 million euros in Series B funding – and why mistakes, child feedback, and burping monsters are part of the journey.

For many families in the DACH region, the Munich edtech Edurino is already well-known. Now the startup wants to conquer the British market as well. There it finds almost perfect conditions for expansion.

The learning platform Edurino closes its Series A round with €10.5 million. In addition to new investors DN Capital, Tengelmann Ventures, and FJ Labs, existing investors Btov, Jens Begemann, and Emerge Education are also participating in the financing.
