Women in Tech: Lisa Oberaigner from Emidat
Lisa Oberaigner co-founded the proptech startup Emidat in 2023 together with Florian Fesch, which is committed to a more sustainable construction industry. After school and an apprenticeship in mechatronics near Salzburg, the native Austrian studied business administration with computer science in Munich and completed several internships in startups and the venture capital sector. She also spent two years abroad: including in Monterrey, Mexico, and Singapore. She completed her master’s thesis at the prestigious MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in the USA.

Emidat: Climate intelligence in the construction industry
The Munich-based proptech Emidat helps construction companies track and reduce the ecological footprint of building materials. This is intended to provide greater transparency regarding the environmental impact of building materials. With a software solution, building material manufacturers can quickly and cost-effectively create and distribute environmental data. The startup was founded in 2023 by Florian Fesch and Lisa Oberaigner. A recently announced funding round of 4 million euros is intended to support further growth.

4 million euros for Emidat
Emidat is developing an AI-based platform designed to provide greater transparency regarding the environmental impact of building materials. The Munich startup has now secured four million euros for this initiative.
