Gender investment gap: Female founders receive less money than men
Gender-specific differences in capital flows appear to have also reached the German startup scene. Five percent of all young companies that received venture capital in 2023 had all-female founding teams – but received only two percent of the funds. This is shown by the startup barometer of testing and consulting firm EY, which focuses on female founders.
