Three of the 100 most important impact startups worldwide come from Munich
The Swedish Norrsken Foundation recognizes the world’s most important impact startups each year. This time, it has also found some in Munich: three startups from the state capital make it onto the Norrsken Impact/100.
€1.5 million for Kitekraft
Kitekraft secures €1.5 million ($1.6 million) in a current funding round for the further development of its flying wind turbines. Alongside new and existing business angels, the Swiss Kapital Global Impact Fund AG participated in the round as lead investor. The Munich startup plans to use the capital raised, among other things, for the construction of a first pilot facility.
