It’s a signal: the competition in the artificial intelligence market is more open than ever. Google has caught up significantly with its Gemini model and is putting pressure on the former market leader. What at first sounds like a two-way battle between tech giants actually opens up new possibilities for smaller players upon closer inspection. Now could be the right time especially for Munich AI startups. We spoke with AI expert Gitta Kutyniok from LMU and Branchly founder Sebastian Flick about this.

New future cluster launched by LMU and TUM
Corona vaccines have demonstrated the potential of vaccines and other medicines based on RNA. Now Munich researchers want to further advance active ingredient development using such nucleic acid building blocks and establish a corresponding future cluster at the Munich location. They have received the award from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
