Munich startup Planet A Foods has developed Nocoa, a cocoa alternative made from oats. In their newly opened first production facility, founding team Sara and Maximilian Marquart want to produce up to 750 kilograms of cocoa-free chocolate mass per hour.

The Munich startup Planet A Foods has developed Nocoa, a cacao substitute based on oats. The Munich ice cream parlor Eismeer on Pestalozzistraße has used the cacao substitute to create the world’s first cacao-free – and vegan – chocolate ice cream, and we got to try it.
