Satellite data has long been abundant. Yet in agriculture and insurance, the resolution and speed needed for concrete decisions are often missing. Munich-based startup Omega Space Technology wants to close this gap with software that automatically translates freely available ESA data into damage reports, irrigation recommendations, and operational guidance. In parallel, the company is already working on its own satellite constellation called “KingTut”, which will be used specifically for agricultural and insurance applications from 2029.
