TUM Files 103 Patents and Leads German University Ranking
In 2025, Technische Universität München (TUM) filed a total of 103 patents with the European Patent Office (EPO), ranking 9th globally and 1st in Germany among universities. A particularly large number of applications were in biotechnology and medical technology.
