Women in Tech: Nora Sommer from Raya
Raya Diagnostics supports hospitals and medical care centers with radiological telediagnostics in patient care. Through the combination of innovative technology and diagnostics, the startup contributes to comprehensive care coverage and supports in cases of staff shortages and capacity bottlenecks. The healthtech was founded in 2021 by Nora Sommer together with Christoph Commes and Tobias Höfler. Sommer is a specialist in radiology and private lecturer at the LMU München. In our interview, she explains why she dared to make the leap from a classical academic career to the private sector and founded Raya.
