Bis zu 1,65 Millionen Euro für Biotech im All: Sprind startet neue Challenge
The German Federal Agency for Leap Innovations (Sprind) has launched the Orbital BioWorks Challenge and provides European teams with up to 1.65 million euros in non-dilutive funding for the development of biotech and pharmaceutical applications in weightlessness. The application deadline is July 3, 2026.

The German federal agency for breakthrough innovations Sprind has founded the subsidiary Pulsed Light Technologies to support startups in the development of laser-driven fusion. Funding of up to 90 million euros is planned.

SPRIND Challenges suchen disruptive Innovationen
The Federal Agency for Radical Innovation (SPRIND) is launching two new innovation competitions in which the development of disruptive technologies will be funded with millions of euros. Applications for the two challenges are possible until October 2 and 16, respectively.
