Ubimaster: Seven million euros for Munich edtech
Munich edtech startup Ubimaster secures seven million euros in a Series A round. With the capital, the company plans to expand internationally and expand its digital education offering.

Jana Krotsch founded Ubimaster in 2019 as a solo entrepreneur. In 2022, she brought her partner Steffen Krotsch on board as a sales expert. The successful ed-tech startup is financed by Owl Ventures and Auxxo. With the mission to simplify and democratize access to education, the company offers tutoring and learning support on-demand with live tutors as an employee benefit or integrated into banking products. This gives children access to a personal tutor regardless of their parents’ socio-economic background. Companies benefit from higher employee retention and strengthened customer loyalty. We spoke with Jana about her career path so far, her motivation, and tips and tricks.

Ubimaster receives €2.5 million in funding
The Munich edtech startup Ubimaster provides students and trainees with unlimited access to certified tutoring teachers. Now the American VC Owl Ventures, as lead investor, together with Auxxo Invest and business angels Ina Schlie and Stephanie Bschorr of Encourageventures, is investing €2.5 million in the young company.
