Velth: Taking Occupational Health and Safety Out of the Binder
Risk assessments are mandatory for employers, yet their implementation falls short at many companies due to the effort involved. Velth consolidates occupational health and safety documentation in one place and generates structured drafts for risk assessments and other required documents. Behind the startup are five founders who met, among other avenues, through the Munich university environment. Co-founder Frederik Tress brings AI expertise from BMW’s Group IT and is studying computer science at LMU München. In an interview, he explains why Velth is deliberately designed for mid-sized businesses and why, when it comes to AI in occupational health and safety, professional quality comes before speed.
