European startup hub ranking 2025: Munich well represented
The European startup hub ranking 2025 is here: in the current rankings by Financial Times and Statista, four Munich founder centers have made it into the top 12: UnternehmerTUM, Start2 Group, the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE), and Baystartup. Werk1 is also represented in the ranking. Further proof of Munich’s strong position as a startup hub in Europe.

New spaces for startups: Werk1 Startup Hub opens
Werk1 opens the new Werk1 Startup Hub in the Stadtsparkasse München building on Friedenstraße in Munich’s east, where startups can rent affordable offices. The new spaces complement Werk1.4, which opened in summer 2023 and houses additional office space, two coworking areas, event and meeting rooms, the Werk1 Café, and the coliving concept.

Werk1 opens Munich’s first coliving concept
With an official ceremony followed by a summer party, the Munich startup center celebrated the opening of its new Werk1.4 building. With the new coliving, Werk1 wants to support startups in bringing employees from around the world to Munich.
