The Munich-based startup has set itself the goal of developing everyday assistants for wheelchair users with the help of new technologies. Munevo DRIVE is a new special control system for people who can no longer use their hands to operate a wheelchair due to severe illness. Unlike established control systems, munevo DRIVE captures head movements and voice commands using a smart glass for the first time. The wheelchair can be controlled intuitively and innovatively through targeted head movements. For the user, this is not only more comfortable, but also associated with increased safety while driving. The intelligently processed software recognizes dangers and adapts to the user. Improving quality of life and mobility for wheelchair users is an important concern. munevo therefore also conducts research on the mobility of wheelchair users at the university level and is still looking for test subjects.
