This startup is no longer active in the Munich startup ecosystem.

Reasons for this may be:

  • Dissolution or takeover of the company
  • Relocation from Munich
  • Change in the business model

ComfyLight is a new home security system consisting of a smart light bulb and a smartphone app. The special thing about ComfyLight is that it offers triple security with just one device: ComfyLight uses a realistic light-based presence simulation to make burglars think someone is at home. Comfylight also detects unwanted intruders, warns the user via smartphone and deters intruders with a flashing function.

Apart from the triple security function, ComfyLight is characterized by its simple installation (replace bulbs with ComfyLights, install the app, connect ComfyLights to the WLAN) and user-friendliness. We are behind ComfyLight, Comfya young start-up. We have currently successfully completed a field test with 55 participants and ComfyLight will be available for pre-order on Kickstarter in winter 2015/16.
