De Bike is an innovative startup from Munich that is developing a decentralized peer-to-peer platform for bicycle sharing and urban micromobility.
Using smart GPS locks and a secure app, private individuals can flexibly rent or borrow their bicycles – entirely without central operators. This creates a sustainable, community-based mobility network that makes available bicycles visible and efficiently utilizes unused resources.
With this approach, De Bike promotes green mobility, strengthens local communities and actively contributes to reducing traffic, emissions and space requirements in European cities.
