Munich-based EV charging systems provider Ecog acquires Josev, an EV charger operating system. With this move, the Munich company is expanding its portfolio to include AC and commercial charging solutions and can now offer a universal operating system for EV infrastructure providers.

Since 2017, Ecog has been helping charging station manufacturers develop their solutions cost-effectively and scale profitably. In an interview, CEO and co-founder Jörg Heurer explains what successes his company has achieved so far and what’s next for Ecog.

The two Munich startups Ecog and Deepdrive win the German Innovation Prize 2024 in the mid-market and startup categories. In the third prize category for large enterprises, semiconductor specialist Aixtron emerges as the winner.
