€130 million deal: Munich laser startup Mynaric becomes part of Rocket Lab
Rocket Lab has completed the acquisition of Munich-based Mynaric AG, spending a total of approximately 131 million euros (155 million dollars) in the form of a nominal cash payment plus 2,277,002 Rocket Lab shares. For the space market, the deal is significant because Rocket Lab is bringing in-house a technology that was previously scarce and difficult to obtain, while simultaneously establishing its first European location in Munich.
