You'll work directly with our Head of Finance&HR and keep the people side of Omegga running while we scale. This is not a "help out where needed" working student role. You own recurring processes end to end, and you get real responsibility from week one.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Own the operational employee lifecycle. Prepare contracts and documents, coordinate equipment and accounts, run structured first days, and manage clean offboardings.
Personio: Keep our HR system the single source of truth. Maintain employee data, absences, digital personnel files, and documentation quality, and help us get more out of the tool than we do today.
Recruiting Support: Draft and publish job ads, keep our applicant tracking system clean, coordinate interview scheduling, and own candidate communication so no application goes unanswered.
Recruiting Day: Organize our candidate day end to end: invitations, agenda, materials, interviewer briefings, and on site coordination.
Internal Events: Plan and run internal formats, from team events to company offsite
Development Budget: Take ownership of our people development budget. Build the process and guideline from scratch with us, then run it: track requests and spend, support colleagues in finding the right trainings, and keep it transparent.
Performance & Review Process: Help us prepare the rollout of our company wide review cycle. You build templates, timelines and tooling, and drive the internal communication around it.
Your Profile
Enrolled student (Bachelor or Master), around 16 hours per week during the semester, more during breaks if you want to. We plan in weeks, not fixed days, so exams and lectures can be accommodated as long as recurring processes stay covered. Ideally for at least 12 months. Your field of study is open. Business, psychology, law or something entirely different. What matters is that you care how people work in a company, not which lecture hall you sit in.
Fluent in German and English, in writing. Contracts, Personio entries and internal comms are partly German. Typos in an employment document are not a small thing.
Some practical experience in HR, recruiting or operations, ideally somewhere that moved fast. We don't need an HR certificate. We need structure and judgment.
You catch what others miss. The missing signature, the wrong start date, the empty field in Personio. In HR, sloppy data becomes someone's problem three months later.
Discretion is second nature. You handle contract and personnel data without ever making it a topic.
You'd rather fix a process than repeat it. New tools don't scare you (Personio, Ashby, Notion, Google Workspace), and manual work twice in a row makes you build something better. You close loops without being asked. You structure your own week, decide when a decision is needed, and you push back when someone tries to bend a process.
