The aim is to find effective solutions that bring benefits in industrial applications and drive forward the implementation of artificial intelligence. The fact that many partners of the AppliedAI Initiative already use SAP software also plays a role. This opens up diverse opportunities for the new collaboration to optimize business processes with AI and make better use of data, according to the partners. The areas of finance, HR, and supply chain are particularly in focus.
In concrete terms, the partnership manifests itself in three core areas: First, AppliedAI wants to support SAP in evaluating AI scenarios. This will be done through targeted exchange formats and by drawing on the experience AppliedAI has already gained from working with a large network of industrial companies. Second, they want to advance knowledge transfer and further education. For this purpose, it is planned to jointly develop learning paths to drive AI training forward within the company. SAP’s integration into the AppliedAI network is intended to guarantee continuous knowledge exchange.
And third, the partners want to develop joint events and innovative use cases. Joint events are to be organized to discuss the use of AI in specific business processes such as finance and supply chain, and to develop innovative use cases.
