Founders who want to disrupt, complement, or support the culture and creative industries are in the right place at Wavelab Incubator. The program combines three intensive on-site weeks with digital workshops and offers participants individual coaching sessions with suitable experts. Like a modular system, startups can choose from the offerings according to their needs. They also benefit from matching and exchange with experienced mentors from culture, tech, and business, as well as free coworking.
The Wavelab network enables access to cultural institutions and enterprises – from subculture to high culture – and connects startups with other actors in the Munich startup ecosystem as well as technology companies. Additionally, investors, funding organizations, and potential customers are part of this network.
Wavelab Incubator: Apply by September 15
Teams consisting of at least two founders can apply if their idea has a clear connection to music, art, or media and uses new technologies. A functioning prototype should be within reach; official founding of the startup is not yet required. Wavelab values innovative, sustainably financeable, and scalable solutions. During on-site phases, participants must be able to be present in Munich.
Applications for the Wavelab Incubator are still possible until September 15. For the online application, applicants must submit a presentation video of their team and idea, a pitch deck, and a financial plan. The most promising teams will receive an invitation to a get-to-know-you call in September. The program starts in November.
All detailed information about the Wavelab Incubator is available on the dedicated website.
