Marketing & Communication Specialist (m/f/d)

TALOS is a new space startup based in Munich developing and delivering a unique IoT solution to track animals or other assets globally, seamlessly and directly from space, without the need for terrestrial infrastructure.

Our major and most impactful use case is to track wildlife allowing researchers to protect endangered species, detect climate change or the early stages of animal diseases.

The company was founded in 2022 and is now looking at scaling its staff capacity to accommodate further projects. To support our vision, we are currently looking for a  

Marketing & Communication Specialist (m/f/d)

Tasks:

• Technical writing for project documentation, proposals and offers
• Drafting of marketing collaterals, presentations, social media posts and press releases, responsible for both text and graphics
• Develop high-level knowledge of TALOS IoT-solutions
• Reporting directly to the CEO and strong collaboration with R&D and management team

Basic Qualifications:

• Degree in marketing, business, engineering, or applicable field of study or equivalent work experience
• Relevant practical experience in technical writing and marketing campaigns
• Self-motivated and proactive mindset
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to win the confidence of highly skilled engineers and executive staff alike
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong English and German language skills in both verbal and written communication

We offer a competitive salary, flexible working hours and the unique chance to join us just at the beginning of our journey to scale up TALOS. The position can be filled in part- or fulltime. Working will be at first in home office, but later on in an office in Munich.
