Das Gründerzentrum WERK1 beherbergt einen Inkubator, zwei Coworking Spaces, ein Café sowie einen Accelerator in den Bereichen InsurTech und HealthTech. Mit derzeit ca. 50 Offices unterstützt es über 40 early-stage Digitial-Startups sowie zahlreiche Freelancer und Entrepreneure in den Coworking Spaces. Das WERK1 bietet die nötige Infrastruktur, ein umfassendes Netzwerk und eine inspirierende Startup Atmosphäre unter einem Dach. Ergänzt wird dies durch Coaching- und Beratungsangebote, Workshops, Vorträge, Veranstaltungen und Konferenzen sowie ein Mentoren und Alumni Netzwerk, um Gründer in ihren ersten Jahren voranzubringen.

WERK1 is the hotspot for digital startups in Munich. The non-profit startup center offers an active community for founders, flexible offices for digital startups, numerous events, and the startup café as well as coworking areas for all digital entrepreneurs. The WERK1 was one of the first projects of the newly formed “Werksviertel“. The large area directly at Munich’s “Ostbahnhof” station is one of the most exciting urban development projects in Germany. Since its opening in 2013, WERK1 has become the ecosystem for creative minds, developers and young entrepreneurs. WERK1 is funded by the Ministry of Economics and part of the Gründerland Bayern Initiative.
