„Bridge the Gap“ is one of Plug and Play Insurtech’s successful event formats, which focuses on the discussion about Insurtech, Innovation and Regulation. Now, Plug and Play Insurtech want to bring this event to Europe and thus, will host the European Edition of „Bridge the Gap – Insurtech, Innovation, Regulation“ in November 2018 in Munich.
With panellists like Kathleen Koehn, Chair of EIOPA’s Insurtech Task Force and pitching startups like Tractable and Cynation, we’ll bring a set of experts on stage, who discuss how regulating authorities deal with innovative technologies in insurance and what regulatory aspects corporations need to consider when working with Insurtechs. We will focus on the three major technologies and topics (1) AI and Big Data, (2) Blockchain, and (3) Cyber Security. For each topic, we invite startups to pitch and show what’s out in the Insurtech space. Based on the pitches, we invite entrepreneurs, regulators, corporates and legal experts for a panel discussion.
