Inspire&Dine is an event format that has been set up to provide an overview of what is going on in the CDTM environment and to serve as a broad discussion forum between students, alumni, professors and partners of CDTM.
Inspire&Dine takes place about six times a year and is structured in short time slots reserved for different topics, each with a duration of about 20 minutes. The first 10 minutes of each segment will consist of a presentation on a specific topic; the rest of the time will be reserved for discussion.
Topics vary broadly from, for example, recent startup projects to experience reports shared by both industry representatives and students or professors. Also, philosophical or sociocritical questions are presented and discussed actively with the audience.
To further strengthen the chance to network with the speakers and the rest of the audience, after the official part some snacks and drinks are provided. For this matter, CDTM is continuously looking for sponsors. Of course, anyone is welcome and encouraged to suggest a topic that they would like to speak about themselves in order to offer inspiration for future endeavors within the CDTM community.
The Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) is a joint institution of the two universities in Munich, the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) and the Technische Universität München (TUM).
CDTM offers the interdisciplinary add-on study program „Technology Management“, which is part of the Elite Network of Bavaria. Students from various study backgrounds with creative ideas, great motivation and an entrepreneurial mindset are offered the tools to put their ideas into practice.
CDTM focuses on three main topics: Innovation, Product development, and Entrepreneurship.
As the study program is very hands-on, CDTM closely cooperates with renowned partners from industry as well as with start-ups and medium-sized companies. Research at the CDTM focuses on new technologies of high economic relevance that are expected to be ready for the market in five to ten years.
