Silvernova has completed a funding round. With the new capital, the Munich-based startup will accelerate the further development of its AI-powered software for legal matters. The solution is aimed at law firms that want to structure large case files and create legal analyses more efficiently.
The funding round includes early-stage investors, industry experts, and partners from established law firms. Among the investors is Altitude VC, an early-stage investor focused on technology and mid-sized companies. The network is further strengthened by partners from law firms and a collaboration with Deubner Fachverlag, which contributes legal content. Silvernova is thus closely integrating both capital and professional expertise into its product development.
According to the company, more than 150 law firms currently use the platform. Silvernova is thus positioning itself as a growing player in the legal tech market. The focus is now on scaling the software and further expanding its functionalities.
Working directly with AI in the file
Silvernova's software is designed as a legal system that works directly within the case file. It analyzes complete case files, classifies the content from a legal perspective, and generates source-based legal documents. These can be further edited directly in Word, allowing the solution to seamlessly integrate into existing law firm workflows.
Technically, Silvernova relies on deep file integration, lawyer-specific preprocessing, and specialized knowledge models. This allows the system to systematically capture even complex legal issues. The AI supports lawyers in various phases of a case, from analysis and structuring to drafting legal documents.
AI functions as a digital tool that takes over routine tasks and supports legal teams in complex proceedings. This should free up resources for substantive and strategic tasks.
