SXSW brings tech pioneers and innovators, startups and companies, creatives and artists from around the world together every year. The upcoming edition takes place from March 7-15 in Austin, Texas and focuses its conference section on topics such as artificial intelligence, health, climate and sustainability, and energy. Overarching all of this is the question of what world we will face in 2050.
Munich at SXSW 2025
The Landeshauptstadt München will again be represented in Austin this year with a delegation that will include Munich startups. We are looking for applicants with innovative technologies and solutions for topics that are in focus at the SXSW Conference. Additionally, startups from the culture and creative industries are invited to apply. At least two of the ten available packages are reserved for them. The packages include:
- an Interactive Badge for participation in SXSW 2025 (1 ticket per startup),
- a travel cost subsidy of up to a maximum of 1,000 euros,
- inclusion in the Munich delegation program.
Startups from Munich can apply if they are listed on munich-startup.de/startups – or quickly register here now – and are already generating initial revenue with their product or service. Additionally, internationalization or attracting international investors should be on your agenda. The application deadline is November 10, 2024.
If you are still undecided or have questions, you are also invited to the kick-off event on November 4 at Munich Urban Colab. There you will get a first insight into the activities planned for SXSW. And startups can learn what to expect from the startup packages. Additionally, there will be plenty of time for networking and getting to know each other.
