Munich Startup: What problem are you solving?
Lukas von Eyb, co-founder of Neuroblends: Many people reach for coffee, energy drinks, sweets or alcohol in their hectic everyday lives to cope with fatigue, stress or social situations. Neuroblends was developed to offer better, more conscious and healthier alternatives here.
There are three variants:
- Sharp for focus & concentration: The better alternative to sugary, high-calorie and unhealthy energy drinks or excessive coffee consumption, which often leads to nervousness or restlessness in many people.
- Relax for calm & relaxation: A conscious ritual for relaxed moments in a hectic everyday life and a better alternative to unhealthy stress habits like sweets, nicotine or strong relaxation aids with side effects.
- Vibe for socializing & good mood: An alcohol-free aperitif for social moments. Vibe creates a sense of ease and good mood without alcohol and without the typical side effects.
All of our drinks contain no sugar, calories or artificial sweeteners. We sweeten naturally with stevia.
Munich Startup: What can only you do right now?
Lukas von Eyb: Neuroblends combines modern neuroscience with naturally delicious taste. Our drinks combine natural plant extracts, nootropics, adaptogens and vitamins like ashwagandha, L-theanine, mango leaf, saffron, Panax ginseng, mango leaf or lemon balm. Ingredients whose positive effects on body and mind have been scientifically studied. We believe that in 2026, refreshment, function and healthy ingredients don’t have to be a contradiction. Neuroblends closes exactly this gap.
Our formulations were developed together with scientists, beverage technologists and raw material experts in Switzerland and iterated over many months. We tested hundreds of combinations of plant extracts until we had three drinks that unite function, taste and naturalness.
Everyday stress as a founding impulse
Munich Startup: What triggered the founding?
Lukas von Eyb: Oliver and I have known each other since childhood – from schoolyard through university and work to the ups and downs of modern adult life. At some point, we both found ourselves in a whirlwind that many know all too well: full calendars, appointments back-to-back, constant performance pressure, too little sleep and barely any time to wind down.
Like so many, we tried to compensate in our everyday lives. Coffee or energy drinks in the morning to stay productive. The effect rarely lasted long and the energy crash afterwards was even worse. After work, an afterwork drink or a glass of wine in the evening to relax. But even small amounts of alcohol had an impact: poor sleep, a heavy head the next day, less clarity.
Supplements couldn’t convince us either. Powders, capsules or drops were impractical in everyday life: unclear dosing, questionable combinations, additional effort. This is when we realized what was missing: not another to-do, but a simple, reliable ritual. A ready-to-drink beverage where the effect, dosage and combination are already meaningfully coordinated.
So we started developing ourselves – together with a team of scientists, beverage technologists and food chemists from Switzerland. We tested hundreds of different plant extracts, their combinations and synergies, and went through countless iterations. Our goal was to create formulations that unite three things: noticeable function, refreshing taste and high-quality ingredients.
The result is three functional drinks for typical situations in modern everyday life. Drinks that don’t overstimulate but support you. Exactly when you need them most.
Challenges as part of the process
Munich Startup: Was there a moment when you thought about giving up?
Lukas von Eyb: Like many startups, we also had moments where things were much more complicated than expected. Especially with functional beverages, product development, regulation, raw materials and production are extremely complex.
There were phases with many iterations, tests and adjustments. But these steps were exactly what was needed to develop a product we can truly stand behind today. In retrospect, these challenges were more part of the process than a reason to give up.
Neuroblends was founded in 2025 by Lukas von Eyb and Oliver Kremer and is based in Pullach im Isartal.
Lukas von Eyb brings an MBA from Imperial College London and over seven years of experience in sales and leadership roles at Amazon. He is also currently working as Head of Sales at a scaleup.
His co-founder Oliver Kremer is a consultant and serial founder.
Munich Startup: How would you know in a year that you’re on the right track?
Lukas von Eyb: A good sign for us would be if Neuroblends has become a fixture in the everyday lives of many people. If customers say: “For long work days I drink Sharp, to wind down during a break or after work I have Relax, and when I don’t want to drink alcohol in the evening, I toast with a glass of Vibe.”
When our drinks are naturally integrated into these everyday situations, we know that we’re solving a real problem.

Munich Startup: Would you found again in Munich and why?
Lukas von Eyb: Yes, absolutely. Munich offers a very high quality of life, a strong startup scene and access to talented people from many fields – from technology to design and science. Also, the city fits very well with the Neuroblends brand: an active, modern lifestyle with a focus on health, performance and balance.
Munich Startup: Focus or diversification?
Lukas von Eyb: At the beginning, clear focus is crucial. Our focus right now is on establishing Neuroblends as a category for functional mental drinks and making our three core products known.
Diversification only makes sense once this foundation is really strong. So for us right now: focus first – growth later.
