According to Andela, Casana’s business model aligns with its own approach to assess the qualifications for accepting members into the global talent network.
“My goal was to build a world-leading talent marketplace,”
says Casana co-founder Enrico Karnstädt.
“By merging with Andela, we have now achieved this. The more vetted freelancers in our network, the faster we can find the right candidate for each client and thus increase the quality of this match. Our European customers now benefit from a larger, global pool of qualified IT experts and Andela’s internationally established processes.”
Karnstädt is joining Andela and will lead the Germany business and expansion in Western Europe as director for DACH and the Nordics.
Casana: Platform assesses applicant qualifications
Casana was founded in Munich by Enrico Karnstädt and Gabor Darvasi during the Covid-19 pandemic. The startup’s goal was to enable companies to assess the technical skills of applicants for IT jobs.
Jeremy Johnson, Andela co-founder and CEO, says:
“Enrico and his team have built Casana into a strong presence in Europe, and we look forward to supporting European customers with our network of vetted tech experts. Similar to the United States, European companies also work remotely and will benefit from the global Andela network.”
