The Munich startup Ridetronic has made it into the accelerator program “Climate-KIC” of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. In addition to the EXIST Start-up Grant The founding team has secured another attractive funding program for an initial period of six months.
Climate-KIC is Europe's largest partner program, dedicated to supporting clean-tech startups with the goal of reducing emissions globally and sustainably. This is precisely where Ridetronic comes in with its "TronicDrive" drive system. Thanks to its innovative battery technology, the company has managed to build a fully-fledged e-bike with a total weight of less than 13 kg and without the use of expensive lightweight components. The Munich-based startup scores points with a concept that contributes to a significant reduction in energy consumption compared to conventional e-bikes.
Financial support and exclusive network
Ridetronic is thus working on a particularly sustainable solution. The electric assistance is easily controlled via a smart drive control app. As a Climate-KIC member, the startup benefits not only from financial support but also from an exclusive network of international companies and outstanding research institutions.
