With now 200 employees, Navvis develops and markets hardware and software for Recording (mapping) of interior spacesThe startup uses mobile laser scanners, which the startup uses to create "digital twins" of the scanned spaces. These are primarily used in the monitoring and documentation of construction projects, as well as in production and factory planning. The startup's customers include companies such as BMW, Daimler, Allianz, Audi, and Skoda.

Navvis intends to use the fresh capital to meet the growing demand for its 3D scanning and digital twin solutions. The Munich-based company also plans to expand its R&D team to further strengthen its technological position in digital twin technology. Just last summer, the startup received €20 million in debt financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB). The funds from this loan were also used to expand the company's technology and market presence.
