Spreadly successfully completes pre-seed financing

The digital business card startup Spreadly has successfully completed its pre-seed financing round. Various business angels with startup and M&A backgrounds are investing in the Munich-based company at a valuation of €2.5 million.

Just recently, Spreadly announced the Acquisition of a competitorNow, founders Darius Göttert and Florian Theimer are pulling off their next venture. They have secured a convertible loan from various business angels with startup and M&A backgrounds. Due to the competitive market, Spreadly declines to disclose the exact investment amount or the names of the investors. However, the startup does reveal that the investment is based on a company valuation of €2.5 million.

With the funds raised, Spreadly plans to strengthen its sales team and further develop its software. The Munich-based company also plans to expand into India. Through participation in the "German Accelerator Asian Discovery Program" and "German Accelerator Indian Discovery Program," the Munich-based company has already gained insight into the market. Co-Founder Darius Göttert explained:

"We are very pleased with the confidence our investors have in Spreadly's vision and business model. With the capital raised, we will further develop our software, strengthen our sales team, and further accelerate our company's growth."

Spreadly receives pre-seed financing eleven months after founding

Darius Göttert and Florian Theimer founded Spreadly in September 2022. Since then, they have been providing companies of all sizes with digital business cards. In this way, the startup aims to not only help the business world reduce waste but also become more effective. Unlike traditional paper business cards, the information no longer needs to be transferred to the recipients' contacts and CRM systems – thanks to the Munich-based company, this happens automatically. Furthermore, you can edit your digital business card at any time, for example, if your position or phone number changes.

According to the company, Spreadly already has over 40,000 users in over 100 countries. Since August of this year, the company has also secured its first global customer, a major Swiss corporation.
