Deloitte considers revenue development from 2018 to 2021 for the Fast 50. To appear on the list, companies must have achieved at least 1 million euros in revenue in fiscal year 2021. IoT Venture from Darmstadt takes first place with revenue growth of 6027 percent. The highest-ranking Munich startup, Climedo Health, follows directly behind with revenue growth of 5906 percent. Climedo offers a digital platform for electronic data collection as part of decentralized clinical trials. The solution from the Munich startup aims to make the approval of pharmaceuticals and medical devices faster and more cost-effective.
Also among the Deloitte Fast 50 are the Munich startups Proglove (4th place, revenue growth: 3,604 percent), Workpath (7th place, revenue growth: 1,471 percent), Croit (10th place, revenue growth: 854 percent), Scompler (16th place, revenue growth: 634 percent), Mistery Minds (35th place, revenue growth: 252 percent), Efficient Energy (38th place, revenue growth: 228 percent), EcoG (40th place, revenue growth: 221 percent), and Myra Security (41st place, revenue growth: 207 percent).
Software dominates Fast 50
As in previous years, a large majority of Fast 50 award winners come from software development, accounting for 48 percent this year. Following at some distance are companies working in digital content (14 percent) and energy technology (12 percent).
