Limehome offers furnished apartments for short-term and long-term rental. The entire check-in and check-out process is digital and without personal contact. The Munich-based company rents 15 apartments for long-term rental and 30 apartments for short-term bookings in Budapest. The apartments, ranging from 35 to 150 square meters, are located in a building constructed in 2021 near Budapest’s main train station.

“Budapest is one of Europe’s top tourist destinations”

Ricky Bichel, Head of International Expansion at Limehome, says:

“Budapest, with its rich history and magnificent architecture, is one of Europe’s top tourist destinations. We are proud to now be available here with our next-generation hospitality offering. We are especially pleased that we were able to convince the landlords with our concept in an intensely competitive real estate market.”

Thorsten Testorp, managing partner of landlord B&L, says:

“We are delighted to have found a partner in Limehome who will operate our attractive property with an innovative hospitality concept. In a rapidly changing guest environment, it is important to reach new target groups with new offerings – with Limehome, we are well positioned.”

Limehome was founded in 2018 by Lars Stäbe and Josef Vollmayr in Munich. The company employs more than 160 employees and operates over 1,400 suites at over 100 locations in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Spain. The startup has raised at least €36.2 million in investments to date. Recently, the company became a sponsor of TSV 1860 Munich.
