Mentessa has developed a platform that connects employees for learning and collaboration based on skills. The startup’s app aims to help employees quickly and easily find the right mentor, advance their careers, or share their experience – regardless of hierarchies, locations, and biases. With this approach, the edtech startup secured one million euros in a seed round in March 2022.
Now the startup, founded in 2019, can secure financing and support from EIT Digital for a project in collaboration with Raiffeisen Landesbank Steiermark, a funding program co-financed by the European Union. The amount of funding was not disclosed.
The joint project between the Munich-based startup and Raiffeisen Landesbank Steiermark aims to test Mentessa’s intelligent skills agent, and in doing so – with the help of AI and large language models – to understand, connect, and develop the skills of Raiffeisen Landesbank Steiermark’s workforce.
