The new leadership position was created to account for Celonis’ growth. The increasing demand for the technologies of the software company and the significance of the DACH market should be better served. Remy Lazarovici will also take on far-reaching responsibility for the strategic and operational development of the Munich location. In his previous role as Senior Vice President for the EMEA region, the diploma mathematician significantly advanced Celonis’ go-to-market strategy and European expansion.

For his new role as managing director of the DACH region, Lazarovici has set ambitious goals:

“Companies face enormous challenges in dealing with ever new crisis situations, becoming more profitable and sustainable at the same time. I am convinced that process mining and execution management are the key technologies to master these tasks. The potential for Celonis, as market leader and technological pioneer, to support companies on this path is immense. Even now, most DAX companies rely on Celonis to optimize their processes. With our technology, we are represented across all industries. In the future, in addition to large customers, we want to increasingly reach so-called ‘hidden champions’, that is, the traditionally strong mid-market sector in the German market. But we also see promising opportunities in the public sector for more intensive use of our software.”

“Remy has accompanied Celonis’ development from virtually the very beginning”

Bastian Nominacher, co-CEO and co-founder of Celonis, says:

“By establishing a more focused team on our home market, we can better meet the requirements of our customers and partners. Remy has accompanied and shaped Celonis’ development from virtually the very beginning. He knows our company culture and our technology from the ground up and, with his profound industry knowledge and long-standing sales expertise, is the ideal choice to further expand Celonis’ strong presence in the DACH market. The goal is to advance, under his leadership at the Munich location – Celonis’ birthplace – the development of a local leadership team.”

Celonis was founded in Munich in 2011. The company headquarters there remains the company’s largest location worldwide and the centerpiece of the development department. Through close cooperation with local universities and customers, Celonis Headquarters in Munich is also a central innovation engine for the company.

In his new role, Remy Lazarovici will also appear as a speaker at the Munich Startup Festival. You’ll hear more about that soon.
