Retorio has convinced additional investors of its personalized AI coaching platform. This gives the spin-off of TU München 9 million euros for its expansion plans and further development of its AI. The core of the technology is behavioral intelligence, which identifies and trains successful behavioral patterns of sales, service, and management personnel through video analysis.
The lead investor in the new Series A financing round is Squareone, a Berlin-based capital provider focused on B2B tech. In addition, Porsche Ventures, the venture capital unit of Porsche AG, and Storm Ventures from Silicon Valley are part of the new investor group. Existing investors are also increasing their stakes, including Basinghall Partners, Passion Capital and Sofia Angels Ventures, as well as the family offices of several DAX executives and entrepreneurs.
“With behavior-based AI coaching, we offer global companies an effective and scalable way to identify and establish success patterns in sales or service company-wide”,
explains Christoph Hohenberger, Co-CEO of Retorio, and adds:
“In this way, companies can adapt much more quickly to new market conditions and hold their own in increasingly fierce global competition. The enormous demand for our solution and its positive impact on business development show us that this is the right approach. Our revenues are growing in the three-digit percentage range, we have won new investors, and we are currently preparing to enter the US market.”
Charlotte Baumhauer, Investment Manager at Squareone, says:
“Retorio’s AI technology opens up growth potential for companies that is hardly being leveraged today. Through the smart use of behavioral data, Retorio is able to increase a company’s sales performance many times over.”
