Marvel Fusion
Marvel Fusion secures 113 million euros: The Munich deeptech company Marvel Fusion has increased its Series B to a total of 113 million euros. The newly acquired financing of 50 million euros comes from EQT Ventures, Siemens Energy Ventures and the European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund. Existing investors Tengelmann Ventures and Bayern Kapital have also participated again. With the expansion of this financing round, total financing increases to 385 million euros according to the company. Of this, 170 million euros comes from private investments and 215 million euros from public cooperation projects. Ftapi
Ftapi raises 65 million euros: Ftapi wants to create a new security standard for workflow automation with its software solution – one that every company, every government agency, and every healthcare facility needs. Following a growth capital round in October 2021, the company can now record another successful financing of 65 million euros. Growth investor Armira Growth and Tikehau Capital, a global asset manager, are participating in the round. The goal of this financing is to continue driving Ftapi’s growth in the European market and thus strengthen European sovereignty in managing sensitive data. The investment is intended to further support the expansion of Ftapi’s product portfolio and drive strategic acquisitions. Tado
Tado secures 30 million from Panasonic: Panasonic is investing in Tado, founded in 2011, through its Heating & Ventilation A/C Company. With the equity stake, Panasonic wants to strengthen its collaboration with the energy manager. The two companies had already announced a partnership last year to optimize Panasonic’s Aquarea heat pumps.
Tado software allows settings on heat pumps to be automatically adjusted to favorable electricity prices and the availability of renewable energy. This not only reduces energy consumption but also optimizes the efficiency of the heat pumps. A software update planned for September 2025 promises savings of up to 30 percent. (Photo: Tado)
Roadsurfer
30 million euros for fleet expansion for Roadsurfer: The Munich camper startup Roadsurfer is securing 30 million euros in a current financing round. Investor Avellinia Capital (AvCap) is participating in the Munich company. According to the company, the London investment firm’s financing covers all of Roadsurfer’s planned fleet investments for 2025, thus securing further expansion of the fleet in existing markets in Europe and North America. With this investment, the Munich company intends to expand its own fleet from 8,500 to around 10,000 vehicles without using additional growth capital. (Photo: Roadsurfer)
Avelios Medical
30 million euros for Avelios Medical: Avelios Medical digitizes workflows in clinics and enables data-driven patient care. The operating system for intelligent patient care, which is oriented toward the working methods of doctors and nursing staff, aims to reduce documentation effort and intelligently network patient data across sector boundaries. The Munich company can now secure 30 million euros in a Series A from Sequoia Capital as well as from its existing investors Revent and the Hightech Gründerfonds (HTGF). Ecoplanet
Ecoplanet secures 16 million euros: The Munich tech company Ecoplanet is securing 16 million euros in a Series A round led by EQT Ventures. The winner of the “Munich Startup Special Prize” 2024 enables companies to optimize their electricity consumption. Given fluctuating electricity prices, consumption is concentrated at times with favorable prices. The Ecoplanet platform uses analytical methods and artificial intelligence to make companies pioneers of the energy transition and support them in implementing sustainable energy management strategies. Comstruct
Comstruct raises 12.5 million euros: Comstruct successfully closes its financing round of 12.5 million euros. The round is led by GV and 20VC, with existing investors also participating. The fresh capital is intended to support the Munich startup’s mission to further digitize the construction industry. The Munich startup has developed a platform for material procurement in the construction industry. It digitizes construction material data such as delivery notes and invoices and automates processes such as ordering, invoice reconciliation, construction site management, and ESG reporting for the construction industry. This solution is intended to enable construction companies to digitize and automate their procurement processes.
