Sarah Schlingloff from Justake presents her mushroom steak — **Pitch & People episode 11 with Justake:** A juicy steak completely without meat? Three young founders from Munich want to make exactly that possible. With Justake, food technologist Sarah Schlingloff is bringing a completely new kind of meat alternative to the plate: a steak made from mushrooms. Sounds crazy? But it’s real science. Their “Lion’s Mane Steak” looks like beef, can be fried like beef, and has nothing animal about it. Instead of highly processed meat substitutes, the team relies on a real superfood mushroom that has been valued as a medicinal plant in China for centuries. Our moderator Kyrill Ring tested whether it tastes good.

**Orbint receives investment from Rohde & Schwarz:** The technology group Rohde & Schwarz is entering into a strategic partnership with Munich-based startup Orbint. The spin-off of Universität der Bundeswehr München has been working on satellite-based signal detection intelligence since 2025. With its entry, Rohde & Schwarz is expanding its portfolio in the electromagnetic spectrum to include space applications. The four founders are developing a distributed satellite network that detects, identifies, and localizes signals in near real-time. The system already processes the data on board the satellites.

Christina Mauer, Einwert — **Women in Tech:** Christina Mauer founded Einwert in 2022 together with co-founder Maximilian Schlachter. With Einwert, she is developing a platform for digital real estate value management that automates processes around property valuations, creates data-driven decision-making foundations, and brings together central industry players such as asset managers, banks, and investors in one place.
