About Futora Marketing GmbH
The team at Futora Marketing has developed a new form of integrative product placement in video games at the Hochschule München. This allows advertisers to integrate their products into games without annoying players with advertising. At the same time, there is the advantage that this new form of advertising cannot be circumvented by ad blockers or ad filters. Every marketing specialist’s dream. The Futora Marketing GmbH was founded in March 2016 by Barbara Frank, Markus Miller, Jörg Puchan, Olav Hinz, and myself. The team consists of students from various Munich universities working together towards a common goal. Futora Marketing’s first game is called PRO GAMER TYCOON and will be released in the coming months together with our advertising partners. In a very short time, PRO GAMER TYCOON rose to number 11 on the most anticipated games on Steam Greenlight, the world’s largest platform for unreleased indie games. The potential of Futora Marketing’s games is reflected in this ranking and creates new incentives to advance the idea. With a release on Steam, hundreds of thousands of new players and thus interactions for advertising partners can be gained within days. Futora Marketing is entirely financed by business angels from Spain, Belgium, and England. PRO GAMER TYCOON is offered free for download and will forgo any in-game sales. This makes the game the first true free-to-play title on the market. Furthermore, new applications of interactive product placement in virtual reality (VR) games are currently being developed, which offer great potential for new game ideas.
